Evidence transparency

Data Attribution

Launch geography: Yavapai County, Arizona · Effective September 21, 2026

PlaceRules pins source releases and evidence hashes used by an analysis so a paid report can identify the evidence snapshot behind its findings. The launch Land Check uses the following core evidence families when they are covered.

Terrain

Authority: U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Source family: 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) elevation data. Terrain metrics are derived screening evidence, not site engineering.

Soils and septic context

Authority: USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. Source family: SSURGO soil data. Mapped septic limitations are screening context and do not replace a site-specific percolation test, design, or county environmental-health process.

Groundwater monitoring / well context

Authority: U.S. Geological Survey. Source: USGS Water Data for the Nation monitoring locations, using a pinned Yavapai County release. This is not an Arizona registered-well inventory and does not establish parcel-specific groundwater availability, yield, depth, water quality, water rights, or permitability.

Mapped road context

Authority: U.S. Census Bureau. Source: TIGER/Line Shapefiles (launch road release: 2025 Arizona / Yavapai County all-roads context). This screens mapped physical road context only and does not establish recorded legal access, road condition, maintenance rights, or private easements.

Per-report provenance

Where available, PlaceRules reports preserve source/release identifiers, dataset pins, evidence hashes, coverage state, geometry provenance, and uncertainty needed to reproduce or qualify a finding. Additional evidence families may appear only when their coverage and product contract support them.
